D90, minidisc, mp3 go!

My exhaustive research suggests we are left with

1986
1994
1998
2004

on various formats.

Place a vote, before Thursday 5pm.  Or suggest another that I can start from scratch (not 1956) – this could take a while to get off the ground, mind…

In The Year 2525

.. we’ll have a bit more choice.  As things stand, I think we have the following tapes left:

1984
1985
1986
1994
1996
1998

Or I could make one up from scratch.  Let’s have a lukewarm debate.

1, 2... 1, 2... this thing working?

If it ain’t broke, you can’t make it drink.

It’s time to pick a new year, Jukeboxers; something from the recent past or something illuminated by youthful memory.  Here are your choices:

1983

Vote now!

Happy New Year?

Choose one then.

DEMOCRACY

Interested partays can pick the next year for the Jukebox Junior rundown.  Still got some tapes left.  Off the top of my head:

1983, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1992, 1994, 1996.

Vote now!

Then I’ll make up my own mind.

He said 'Doctor', I said 'Wot?'

As we pilot our TARDIS of groove through the wormholes of melody once more, which year will we crash-land in?

1983?
1986?
1990?
1993?
1977?

Vote now!

Yellow Pearl, The Wizard, Whole Lotta Love

I’ll deal with the demise of The Pops if I remember to watch the final show on Sunday.  I worry too that it might be the death knell for the Charts, just when they were starting to find their feet again- just when ‘highest new entry’ and ‘highest climber’ were starting to mean something again.

Ooo, what do you know?  It just so happens that Jukebox Junior is the highest climber in today’s 20six charts.  What a coincidence.  And what an achievement.

1982 will be done tomorrow.  Pick another year, kids.  There’s life in the old dog yet.
